Some things that I have been doing and my thoughts:

Catacombes: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Skeleton heads. The Catacombes has lots of skeleton heads in it. 6,000,000 heads. It's true.

Louvre Art gallery: Not my cup of tea but the rest of the family enjoyed it.

Children's technology museum: the little kids push and shove so you never get a very long turn on anything.

Food: the food is yummy but I like NZ food better. But it do like their French bread.

Paris overall: Paris is very loud at night. But is a very nice place overall.

Enjoying Paris

Hi - here some things to tell you after 3 days in Paris:
The smells: pee and poo -  from dogs - what rude animals. The smell of the bakery - I like it.

The sights (look): crowded, very crowded as people go to work. Apart from that very pretty especially the statues an buildings

The tastes: mmmm nom nom - pain au chocolate. Yuck smokers

The feels (touch): dad tells me not to touch anything!

The sounds: very loud at night, but the buskers in the Metro sound brilliant.

From the West to the East

Glen Affric and Loch Ness: Sadlly we didn't see the Loch Ness Monster but we saw the lake that it lies in. (if it is true)

Culloden Battlefield: Can't remember ?????????? Mum just told me it was a fight between the Scots and the English. They used to fight a lot. In this fight the English won big time because they were better organised, had more men and were well rested and fed. We have seen a lot of memorials about the fights.

Whisky Tasting: the parents got to taste the whisky but we got to taste WATER. How sad I really wanted some whisky.

Castles: We  went to lot of castles. They were all (cool). One was called a fairy land castles. The fairy land castle was pink.

The drive to Edinburgh: I slept some of it and even missed the huge Forth Bridge. We stopped for coffee and mum said it was the worst coffee she had ever had.

E here - Scotland is a land of two halves: West and East.

The West is: lots of midges, cold (had to wear long johns), wet, windy, promise of red squirrels
The East is: fewer midges, warm (hot), dry, not so much wind, more like NZ, still promise of red squirrels

End of the first week in scotland

Yesterday we went on a glass bottom bout. You're probably thinking the floor is glass but it's not. They're little holes that you can look through. On the way back it got to steer the boat. it was just like an optimist but with no sail :( how sad. I drove it into the marina birth with a little help from the guide guy. After that we went to the beach I brought the rubber MALLET of DOOM doom doom. I made castles then smashed them with the MALLET. On the way back I smashed someone else's sand castle. Hope they're not reading.

We had to do our homework today. Maths.
